Cant believe its July!!! This summer is flying! I wont bore you with all of our ball games! THat is our summer life til the end of JUly!! I have mangaed to start some Christmas projects and ornaments!! I hope to get back to posting more often!!

Sorry its been so long!! YOu know how summers are for us!!! lots and lots of softball and baseball!!! We live at the ballfields!! This past weekend Jacob threw his first "No hitter"!!! hes only 10! It was an awesome game!!!!! We are so proud!!!

Today is finally the last day of school! I told the kids to quit wishing for snow days in the winter!! WE had to go 3 extra days to make them up!

Ive been knitting alot lately, I am doing a sock knit-along!
I started this rose to make a pillow for our great room, I want to make one in black and then another in teal.

Junior High Dance!!

Tonight is Victoria's last Junior High dance!!! When did she grow up??? I miss my little gummy smile girl!! I cried all the way home after dropping them off!! I am NOT ready for her to go to high school next year!! College will be just around the corner and I don't want her to go!!!! I miss my little girl!!

Mothers Day!
We spent Mothers Day at the ball park! No where else I would rather have been!!

Another busy weekend!!!!
Jacob had a basketball tournament. This was his last one!! I think basketball may be over! Im not sure though because he tried out for a traveling team so I guess we will wait and see, not sure if he will make it, he's 4th grade & he tried out for a 5th & 6th grade team!!
Anyway, full force into baseball, softball & volleyball now!!!!

Finally had a chance to do some work on Jaxon & Jordyn!!! Hoping to finish it soon!!!

I got a new phone!! I love my blackberry but I wanted some apps! I got the Droid Pro!! I didnt stitch much this weekend because I have been trying to figure it out! I still dont have it all worked out! I know my nieces, daughter & friend & I are all addicted to playing scrabble though!!!!!

Jacob had a basketball tournament all weekend! They came in 4th place. He had 64 points in 4 games! He played the best I have ever seen him play!!
I got some knitting done in the car on the way to ball. I am cruising on my brother in laws sweater!! I hope to have it done soon!

I have also been working on a pair of fingerless gloves that a friend & I are doing in an online knit along, a sweater for my brother-in-law & I am starting the final picture of my niece & nephew for my remaining brother & his wife! They will soon all have a cross stitched picture of their kids!!

None of our teams where in the bowl this year! We really didnt care which team won, we just wanted a good game! I do have to say that I am happy that the Steelers lost!!! Go Bengals!!!

Christmas cards!
I've been trying to take pictures for our Christmas cards. I have to do it when Jacob & the dogs are in a good mood! Its not always easy! My grandma will get mad if the card doesnt have Chuck & I in it!! Oh well, i like having the kids & the dogs! Chuck & I dont take great pictures anymore!!

We had our annual Christmas cooking bake a thon! We made over 600 cookies in one day! All the cousins, aunts & uncles had a great time! I dont think the dogs got a single cookie! Pretty good!!

8th Grade Wins!!!
Victorias team won their division & they won the GWOC tournament! What a fun few months of volleyball! You girls did great!!!!
One of the moms had to miss the game last night, but she was waiting for the girls with flowers!

Volleyballs, volleyballs & more volleyballs!!!!
Victoria asked me to make 28 volleyballs for her "Goodie Bag" for this Thursdays match. She just asked me Saturday! She wants me to make them double sided volleyballs & then turn them into keychains. I swear I just made a bunch of these for her spring volleyball team!! How could I say "No". So yesterday I sat in the car (since it was windy & rainy & freezing) while she played her double header & worked on her volleyballs. I have 4 more to make!!

Jacob made the front page of the paper! He was so excited to see himself! They were learning about nutrition! To bad he hasn't practiced what he learned!! He loves his sweets!!

Nice, slow, uneventful weekend!!!! The perfect weekend! Temps got cooler, sat at Jacobs football game with a blanket! Enjoyed Victoria's softball game with capri's on. More importantly, enjoyed my Pumpkin Spiced Coffee all weekend!!! Just a quiet family weekend! Cleaned out a few closets, did some house work but really managed to stitch alot!!!

Victoria had a GREAT night of volleyball last night!! Her team still hasn't lost! 9-0 We were a little worried last night but they pulled off another win! Awesome job last night Victoria!! Way to kick butt!!

A friend & I went to a wool gathering this past weekend. It was a lot of fun! Lots of wool. I took these pictures & sent them to my kids & Jacob asked "what the heck are they??" & then of course he said, "Can you bring one home??" They were so cute! I wish I could have brought one home!!

My brother loves his Bengals! I guess he is getting his girls into the football hoopla too! To bad our Bengals didnt pull of a win on Sunday! We didnt get to watch them, we were at Victoria's fall softball games!

Can you tell that we visited the Halloween store this weekend? It has become a tradition, every year we all go out to dinner then to the Halloween store! The kids (& Chuck) love trying on the masks & seeing all the new stuff!! Victoria & her cousins make a "haunted trail" every year for her birthday party so we like to pick up new blood, guts, bones etc!!

Still working!!
I didnt get much done this weekend exept for painting! I am hoping to hit this hard this month & get it finished! I have lots of other things I want to get working on!!

What a "Labor" fun filled weekend we had!!Did I say fun filled?? Hmmm. If you call painting fun then have at it!! We spent the weekend painting the rest of the inside of our house! All 3 floors are now painted!! I did not enjoy doing the 2 story foyer or great room! Neither Chucknor I wanted to get up on the ladder that high so we called my brother!! Hes always looking to make a little extra money!! Im just glad its finally done! Now we are getting new carpet & I get to start buying new pictures & accessories! I never want to see another paint brush!!

We did manage to have some friends over Sunday night. We did the fire pit & we lit a sky lantern. The kids & the adults thought it was pretty cool! Wonder if anyone called in any UFO's Sunday night!!

Still working!!
I started a new sweater this weekend so I did alot of knitting!!

I made this little picture for Victorias best friend for her birthday! Allison & I started this saying a year ago & we always see who can say it first when we see each other!! She & Victoria were talking on the phone one night & Victoria put her on speaker & Allisons cow fell off her shelf & the butt landed on her face & thats how cow butt began! Just something silly Allison & I do when we see each other or we text it to one another once in awhile! I got her permanetly now though!!

I finished my Februaury sweater!! I can't wait to wear it!!

First day of school has come & gone. I am so sad! I miss having the kids at home!! Life seems so much easier without school schedules & homework!
Jacob is in the 4th grade & loves his teacher & class!!! Victoria is in the 8th grade & is so so. She didnt get with many of her friends so she is really bummed but she is looking forward to making new friends!! I hope this year goes slow!! Victoria will be entering high school next year & Im not ready for that so this year can crawl by!!!

Im working on my moms picture once again!! Ready to be done with this one too! I did mail the other picture off for Linda, she called me to tell me how much she loved it!! I am so glad she appreciated all my hard work!

What a weekend Victoria had!!! She had a dad/daughter weekend and a friend weekend in Chicago! Victoria is very much into softball & she loves Jenny Finch. She was very sad to hear that Jenny would be retiring this summer. Victoria has always wanted to see her play, so.....Chuck, Victoria & her best friend & her parents went to Chicago to see her this past weekend!!! They went to a double header on Saturday. Victoria caught Jennys home run ball in batting practice along with other balls! Chuck ended up talking to the owner & the owner said, "Anyone that has driven 6 hours to see Jenny should get to meet her!!!" So he took all of them onto the field & introduced them to Jenny!! Victoria was on cloud 9!!! In fact, I think she still is on cloud 9!! She was so excited to talk to her & get pictures taken with her!! Victoria will never forget this weekend!!!

Where did our little girl go?? I made her a make-up applying session last week. I decided that I wanted her to learn how to do make up right if shes going to start wearing it!! Victoria made the 8th grade volleyball team & she tried out for new select softball teams this past weekend. She made all of them that she tried out for so now she has a decision to make! I think shes going to go with the one that she has wanted from the start...The Blaze!! Congrats Victoria!!! We are so proud of you!!! Watch out 8th grade....here comes Victoria!!!!

Finally!!! A weekend at home! No ball!!
We spent Friday & Saturday painting our great room & living room in our house! I was beat!! We still have the hallways, two story foyer & the two story part on our great room to go!! We built our house 7 years ago & it has needed some paint work!!! I decided to go with a Dormer Brown, this way I will be able to change accessories easier than changing the paint color all the time!!

I see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! I am done with all the pattern pages, now I just have to fill some spaces in!!!! WooHoo!!!!!

Back from Chicago & straight to Victorias last tournament! They finished second!! Now my summer can begin...no more ball!!!

We headed to Chicago last week for Jacobs World Series baseball tournament! They finished 4th. They should have done better but 5 of the 11 kids on the team got sick while we were there!! Yuck! They played alot of great ball even sick! Good job boys!! Our season is now over :( til next year :)!

Of course I had to have a sweatshirt!!!

Victoria loves Reese Cups so we got her one from the Hershey store since she wasnt here yet when we went downtown!!

Gino's!!! You must eat deep dish pizza when you are in Chicago!!One of the moms made a bet with Jacob! She said she would give him five dollars if he could eat two slices of pizza!! He couldnt even finish one piece!!

Another full weekend of ball! Victoria's team struggled this weekend but Jacobs team kicked butt! They won the Cincinnati World Series! They played their little hearts out!!

What a crew!! What was I thinking? I let Jacob have some teammates over night for his birthday!! They were all very good, just VERY active!!

I took the boys down to visit with Chuck before we went to the baseball fields for ball. He showed them the entire police department (except for the weapon room, they were bummed about that!!) They all had tons of questions!!

Poor Jacob! A sign that his sleepover/birthday party was a huge success!! He slept from 4-8pm then went to bed at 10 with no problem!!

It's getting there!! I am working on it all day today except for when we "Bring It"! My husband & I have started doing the P90x workout. We are on day 12 & we have lost weight! Its killing me to eat right though! I miss my donuts!!

Jacob is 10 years old!!! I cant believe our baby is in double digits! No more kids left in single digits!! So sad! He did not want a cake this year, he wanted Hershey kiss cokies! He said " my mom makes the best kiss cookies!!" so of course, thats what he got!!

I am so ready to be done with this!! I have a million other projects that I want to work on! It sure would go alot faster if I was actually home to work on it!!

Mocha loves to steal Echo's bone!! She waits until Echo isn't looking then she runs up & steals it!! Apparently she thinks she deserves both bones!!

This was the first 4th of July that Chuck didnt have to work in a long time!! We really enjoyed the fireworks but we were all beat!! The kids played ball all weekend, 12 games in 3 days between the two of them!! Tired!!!!

Every 4th of July & Christmas, we have a neighborhood group of kids & parents that take the kids to two nursing homes to sing. We have been doing this for about 10 years now. The kids are all getting older but they still enjoy it once they get there. This years group is a little small, lots of families are on vacation!

Happy birthday yesterday to my wonderful husband!! We went to my dads for a pool party & I asked my dad to pick up a cake or something for Chuck. Normally I have a cake for him but we weren't suppose to be in town yesterday so I was not prepared!! My dad went all out & got Chuck a double decker cupcake!!

Girl Time!!!
Victoria & I had girl time together last night. We ran up to the mall to pick up a ring that I had sized & we played around!! We tried flip flops & heels on, new sunglasses, sprayed perfume until we sneezed to death & she bought some rings at Claires which she took back 3 times last night until she found the right size!! She also tried 3 new cell phone cases & ended up with a black & white zebra print one! By then I was ready to head for home so we had to run through McDonalds for a diet coke & an ice cream cone!! I just love our girl times together!!

Strawberry Time!!
This past weekend is our Strawberry Festival in Troy. We have a huge festival where arts & crafters have booths on our levy. We usually have around 160,000 or more visitors to our town during this weekend! There is a big parade on Saturday morning then lots of strawberry themed food, drinks & handmade crafts! I keep saying that I am going to rent booth space every year but I never have enough time through out the year to build my inventory!
I always have to work our chamber booth & my husband is in charge of the police tent every year so we never see each other or our kids during this weekend! Its a crazy weekend! Now we are officially ready for summer!!!

Jacob had a big tournament in Columbus this weekend too! He truly played the best games of his life!! I think he had 3 triples, 2 doubles & singles! He was awesome at shortstop & rocked the ball when he pitched. He was clocked at 54 miles an hour, that is amazing for a 9 year old! The pros throw 90ish & hes throwing 54 for 9!! We are so proud of him! Way to go Flames!! Of course, you always have to make time for Chipotle!!!

We left this past Friday for the weekend in Tennessee! Jacob had a Flames baseball tournament in Pigeon Forge. It was hot, hot, hot!! The boys played terrible their first two games then picked it up some for the rest. They ended up in third place. Jacob played really well!He had one truly awesome game! It is so much fun to watch him when he's really on!!
I didnt get much stitching done while we were gone. I did some knitting in the car but not to much of anything!
I did make this shirt to support our Flames! Now all the mom's want one! When will I ever learn??!!

We were told that the wait at this place wouldn't be very long! Wrong!!!!

I love the weekends!!Busy, busy, busy times!! I decided Friday afternoon that I was going to paint the entire basement! Since we have to get new carpet I thought it would be smart to go ahead & paint now while there is no carpet on the floor! I got the first coat of paint on Friday night!
Saturday we had ball games, ball games & more ball games!! We went to my two nephews games on Saturday before Jacobs game. It is so much fun to watch them play! Ryan is a great little athlete & Lance is....just Lance! Hes such a character! He hung out with his big cousin Jacob while Ryan played!!

Sunday was a day of relaxation! ha!! We went to church then Victoria had softball practice so I ran her while Chuck cut the grass & did yard work. When I got home from softball I put the second coat of paint on the basement! I didn't think I would get it done but I did!! Chuck helped me finish it!
We finally got to grill out on our new patio!! By the time we were done with dinner, we were exhausted!!
The kids have 10 more days of school left! It should really only be 8 but we had 2 snow days that we have to make up! I will be so happy when school is out! Life seems to go smoother when we don't have to worry about homework & bed times!! I love the summer!

It was a pretty quiet weekend except for the sump pump breaking during the night & our basement flooding! We have a completed basement & there was water every where! We filed a claim through our insurance so they sent a crew to start cleaning it up! I am hoping for new carpet or at least our basement painted since they said our walls are wet too!! For the amount of our deductable, I hope we get something out of it! What a pain in the butt!! I guess the good thing is, is that we didnt really lose anything to the water damage! It just smells but thats gone now too! Never a dull moment!!
I am going to have to set aside my moms picture for a litle bit!!I received an order for me to do another picture for a customer so a paying customer comes first!! It wont take me long & then I will be back to work on moms!!

What a great Mother's day! We went to church, went to my nieces 13th birthday party & then I got to come home & stitch! I stitched for the rest of the night!! I love it when I just get to sit!! We did end the evening with a little time around the fireplace!

I didn't get much stitching done this weekend. To much ball & traveling on the highway from one sporting event to the other! I did get alot of knitting done on my sweater! I will take a picture of that soon!!

Victoria had her last volleyball tournament for this team on Saturday. We spent the day at Ohio Northern. My brother went to school there so I showed her around & told "clean" stories of when I used to visit him!!
We made treat bags for the girls & dummy me decided the night before they were to be done, how cute it would be to make the girls keychains!! I had to make 10 of them! I got them all done, never mind how late I stayed up on Friday to finish them!! Why do I do this stuff to myself!!!

Victoria went to a Junior High dance Friday. The student council put on a dance just for the kids to hang out, no girl boy dance! Thank heavens, I'm not ready for that yet!!

Pitched awesome & hit the crap out of the ball! She hit one that we all thought had left the park but it hit off the fence! Next time!!! Off to baseball with Jacob tonight! When will it ever end?? Just kidding, I love it but I would like it to slow down a little bit!!

Didnt have alot of time to stitch this weekend! We were on the road ALOT between softball, volleyball & baseball. I think I did more knitting this time than stitching! Its easier to knit at volleyball than stitch! Slowly but surely!!
We built our house 7 years ago & we are just now pouring a bigger patio!I am so excited!! This is just phase one, I have phase 2 & 3 to go! At least in my mind, Im not sure my husband agrees with me!!
We went to the Reds game with some of Jacobs Flames team. The Reds lost but we did get to see some homerun fireworks! Jacob is the top row, second one, #2.

What a busy weekend!! Up & down I-75!!!! Both kids had a game Friday night, an hour away from each other of course! Saturday we got up at the crack of dawn to be at Miami U. for Victorias volleyball tournament. Chuck left at 1:00 to go to Jacobs tournament then Victoria & I went to Jacobs second game after hers were over. Sunday we got up even early to go to the rest of Jacobs tournament! The good news is, they won the tournament & Jacob played excellent!! He was a machine at shortstop & pitching!! A very busy weekend but I loved every minute of it! Victoria & I did run to Joanns in between games yesterday. We found fleece baseball & softball material to make blankets! We are going to start working on them tonight! Many, many more busy weekends to come! Not much time for stitching this weekend but I will make up for it tonight!!!

I hope everyone had a great Easter! The weather was perfect!!! We had my family over & were able to have the Easter egg hunt outside! Way to much food!!

Slow progress this weekend, to many kid/family events. I am really ready for this one to be done! I love how its coming together but I am ready to move on. I did get my moms second sock knitted on Sunday in the car so they are ready for her for Mothers Day. My nephew turned 7 yesterday! We went to their house for his party. He wanted a shirt like his older cousin Jacob so we had to get them matching ones!

Sure hoped they washed their hands!!! Lauren (left) & Victoria decided to make cookies Friday night! For as much goofing around as they did, the cookies actually came out really good!!!

Poor little Mocha had her getting "fixed" surgery Friday. She was so out of it all day Friday! I think Echo enjoyed the peace & quiet! By Saturday she was back to her normal stinker ways!!

Saturday night we ended up having 2 nephews & 2 nieces spend the night. I went to my sister in laws house while Jacob was at baseball with Chuck. We watched New Moon, ate & drank margaritas! We took her 2 boys home with us & then we stopped at my moms & got Victoria & my 2 nieces. They were suppose to spend the night with my mom but she started getting sick so I got all of them! We didnt get home until 11pm but the kids still played til after midnight & then were up at the crack of dawn for more playing time!! Oh, to be young again!!

Where do we sleep? Our bed has been taken over by dogs!! Enjoying the sunshine on Saturday!!! Love this weather! Mocha is finally learning the electric fence boundaries! They are having so much fun running around & playing outside now!!

We spent all day Sunday at Victorias volleyball tournament. They came in second place again! I did get a book finished & worked on my knitted cardigan in between matches!

What another busy weekend! Friday night we had game night with Chucks brother & family. We are trying to get together once a month & play games. So far we have only missed February! 2 out of 3..not to bad, yet! We played lots of ping pong, that seemed to be the crowd favorite! Dee & I are going to practice so we can beat the guys next time! Busy weekend!! Lots of softball, baseball & volleyball! Saturday started off fun for me! I went to Coach with my sister in law & bought a new purple purse! I love it! I have ben wanting a purple purse(since its my favorite color!!) The sun was shining & I didnt have to wear my heavy coat! The day was perfect! Victoria & I went to Chipotles for dinner since Chuck & Jacob went to baseball practice! Then I got to stitch for the rest of the night while she hung out with a friend!

Sunday was the killer day! Victoria had volleyball ALL day! I love watching their sports but I hate it when you have to sit around in between matches especially when the sun was out & we were inside!! Jacob went crazy, bored out of his mind so we were close to my brothers house so he got to go over there & play with his cousins! Victorias team came in second yesterday so I guess it was worth it! More of the same this coming Sunday!!

I started working on my moms Christmas present for this year! I am doing a cross stitch of all 9 grandkids for her. I plan on working on other things in between, I am getting a little tired of these big projects! I need something little & fun thrown in! I do love seeing the kids come to life though!!

Last night was our first Monday since November that we didnt have basketball!! We actually ate at home last night! Of course tonight its back to softball but Ill take what I can get! Victoria has her first traveling volleyball match Sunday, its an allllll day event! I think I will take my pair of socks that I am making for my mom for Mothers Day & work on them! I hate to be idle for to long!!

We might get up to 47 on Thursday!! I am doing the happy dance!!!! Cant wait! Have a great Tuesday everybody!!!!

I finished the picture for my sister in law, the picture I took turned out terrible so I will have to take another one! I am so happy to be done with it!! Now I have started on the one for my mom of the 9 grandkids!
No snow today!! In fact, its rainign a little & melting some of that snow!! Yea!! While we were at the mall, I bought Victoria 6 pairs of Old NAvy flip flops! We are ready!!!!

Two "Cool Dudes!" We had time to run into the mall in between Jacobs games Saturday. Chuck wanted new sunglasses & of course Jacob wanted to be cool too!!

Victoria has been wanting a good picture of her & the dogs...same problem, they wont sit still & look at the camera!!

I was trying to get a good picture of the two kids & the dogs yesterday! Talk about a hard job! Id get the kids to be still then one of the dogs would get up & move! Make sure you notice the lovely shredded tissue in the back ground! More of Mochas work!!

Say it isn't so!!!! They are calling for another 9 inches of snow today!!! I am tired of snow!! Don't get me wrong, I love the snow but enough is enough! I want to see my brown grass again! ha My poor little Mocha, she swims in the snow! She doesnt have a prayer when shes running with Echo!

My sister in law called me last week & asked me to make a "name" for her daughters, teachers new baby. Her name is Ellie & she wanted me to do it like her nursery. I pulled up Penelope in Pottery Barn Kids & tried to make it look just like it. I think I did pretty good. Melinda & Grace were happy with it! Now they get to frame it & present it to Graces teacher!

Now I am back to working on my other sister in laws Christmas picture! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am almost done with it! I am excited to get started on my moms picture of all 9 grandkids even though I know its going to be a pain! Its almost time to start on my ornaments that I do every year for my kids & the nieces & nephews. I like to do one a month so I dont have to do them all at once like I did last year!!

The kids are off today so I am sure we wil be going in & out all day today with the snow! I just hope they have school tomorrow!!!

I have had it!!!! NO more snow!!!! I am usually a winter person but enough is enough!! We have about 16 inches right now & the kids have been out of school all week! Its time to go back to normal! I want to see the grass again, not the dogs poop sticking out like a sore thumb on top of the snow!! Oh well! The kids have enjoyed the snow! Victoria & her cousins decided to color the snow & dig tunnels! They were doing great until Echo ran across them & collapsed them. Mocha isnt on the electric fence yet since she is still to young so they spent most of their time chasing her around the front yard! She looked like she was swimming in the snow since shes so little! She has definetly slept good the last two nights! Jacob did some sledding with friends & some shoveling but he has enjoyed being on his xbox a little more than usual! I have let him spend a little more time on it (then I get to stitch in peace!!)

I keep waiting for the weather report to say "80" so far, not so good!

I am making progress with my sister in laws picture! I just printed off a new one to start after this one, its for my mom for Christmas. its of all 9 grandkids! Its only 22 pages!! Am I crazy or what?!?! She will love it! She has been waiting for one for years!
Woke up to a dusting of snow today, yuck! I want spring!! It was 39 yesterday & so nice, now we have snow again! :(

Coyote alert!!! We have seen 3 sightings of coyotes in our back yard in the last week! Last Friday Mr. Coyote was in the middle of our yard staring in the house at me! Echo is going crazy sniffing outside, he knows something is out there! Mocha on the other hand is totally oblivious to the coyote! Im sure she would make a nice little snack for it! Victoria & I have started shouting out the door every time we let the dogs out to scare any coyotes away! I certainy dont like them being so close to the house!!!

I didnt get much stitching done this weekend, we were on the go alot!! I did read alot in the car! I hate it when I have to try & decide between reading & stitching!! I am still working on my Sister in laws picture of her, her husband, 2 kids & her parents for Christmas 2010! Trying to get a head start on things!! Heres a picture of it so far!

I did manage to get lots of gifts done for Christmas this year! I am happy with how everything turned out! I have now started on a gift for next Christmas already! Stay tuned & I will post a picture when I have made some progress on it!!

Happy New Year!! I cant believe Christmas is over already! It makes me so sad! We had a great Christmas! The kids enjoyed everything they received & I just enjoyed being with my hubby & the kids! We had lots of family game nights!! The good ol fashioned board game, game nights & good ol ping pong!! I hated to see the kids go back to school today. Im not bored though, I still have the new puppy to keep me busy!!

I did teach my 2 nieces how to stitch. One night they asked how to do it so Victoria & I showed them how. They are all stitching their initials.

Call me crazy!!!! Crazy, crazy, crazy! We got the kids a puppy Saturday! Why oh why?!?! We have been talking about it for while now, we are gone alot with all the kids sports so we wanted to get a friend for Echo so he wasnt so lonely while we are gone. I really wasnt thinking a puppy though! Well, Mocha is now part of the family! She is a shepherd/terrier mix & shes a little bundle of fire! She definetly doesnt take it when Echo gets in her face! She fights back. So far, things have been going well. I hate putting Mocha in a cage right now while we are gone, but she doesnt seem to mind to much. The kids are in heaven with two dogs. I have always wanted two dogs so I am loving it too! I just hope things continue to go smooth!!

Busy times!! Thanksgiving came & went in a whirl! Way to much turkey!! We had a super great time with all the family! Lots of board games were played this year!

Moving on to Christmas! I had everything decorated the weekend before Thanksgiving. I love to get everything up so I can enjoy it! We made the big switch last year to an artifical tree (yuck) but we had to. We always get a 13 foot tree & 9 foot around for our great room. It got to be such a pain having to use Chucks weights to weigh the thing down & to have the neighbors come over to help put it up. This tree is just as bad though! Its 14 foot tall & Chuck struggles to put the top on it! Oh well, what are you going to do??!! Victoria has started a bad habit with the dog & the tree, she thinks its cute to put a candy cane on the bottom & watch Echo get it off. Wont be cute when he knocks the whole tree over. In this picture, he is waiting for a candy cane to appear!!

Most of the shopping and wrapping is done, cards are out & baking has been started. I try to bake something every few days. I love this time of year!!!!

I still have 3 gifts to finish. I am making a Vikings helmet cross stitch for our son, a Chiefs one for my brother in law & I took a picture of our first Husky & am stitching it for our daughter. Looking forward to stitching tonight & watching Christmas movies with the kids! The only day this week that we have nothing on the calendar!!!!

I did it! I finished all the ornaments for my kids, my nieces & my nephews!! I am so glad I am done! I need to finish putting the strings through them & do two more pictures but they are done!! I can finally move onto something else!!!

We put up a few Christmas decorations this weekend! I just cant seem to wait! I love this time of the year!!!! We have a busy weekend coming up too. We have Thanksgiving at our house with my husbands family & then on Sunday we have our baking day! Every year since I have been a little girl we all get together to make cookies. Theres usually about 17 of us, parents & kids that bake! We bake over 5 different kinds of cookies and usually end up with over 700 cookies! We freeze them and them divide them up on Thanksgiving for everyone to take home and enjoy! I cant wait!!!

Time is flying! I cant believe its the second week of November already! This is my favorite time of year so it needs to slow down so I can enjoy it!!!! I already have my Christmas mugs out & the kids wanted to put their Christmas trees in their rooms so we did that this past weekend. I am ready to put more stuff out!!! I have been listening to Christmas music for a week now!! I have one more ornament to go then they are all finished for my nieces & nephews for this year! I will post them when I am done.

I did finish a covered bridge for my grandma. She loves covered bridges!! I have also been knitting fingerless gloves for gifts. These have been going pretty fast!

Victoria made a traveling volleyball team & Jacob made a traveling basketball team so we are off and running again!! Now we have volleyball, softball pitching lessons, softball, basketball & baseball practices!! I will never see my house again!! I love watching the kids play, I just wish we didnt have all the practices!!!

UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! I hate being sick!! I have been down for 6 days now with a sinus infection! It has left me weak!! Today is the first day I have been off the couch for more than 10 minutes! I need to get back among the living!!! I am just glad the kids arent sick. Chuck was down for a few days with a terible cough but so far thats it!! I think I may be on the mend! I have trick or treat candy to buy still! I sent Chuck to get candy & he bought the cheapest kind! Bad man, now I have to go get better candy!

I did manage to work a little bit on the my aunts gift but thats about it, just to weak and to tried! I need to kick things in gear, lots of gifts to get done!!!

Busy times!!! I feel like we are never home!!! We run between volleyball & football right now! Yesterday we celebrated our daughters "13th" birthday! Where does the time go?!?! I cant believe she is a teenager! I think she had a great day yesterday! Forthe last 3 years she & my 2 nieces havemade a Haunted Trail in our basement for the family to go through onher birthday. Theyjust keep getting better & better. The kids really enjoy the trails & the grown ups do too!

I am still working on all my picture ornaments! In between them I started on a picture for my aunt for Christmas. She loves cows so every year I make her a cow picture. I think I am going to turn this one into a pillow when I am done. Well, off to buy Jacob some jeans since he deided to play football in his best pair of pants!!

A weekend of stitching! We watched football, caught up on our dvr shows & I stitched! Took time out Saturday for Jacobs football game..they won!! Great job Jacob! Did some housework inside & out but mostly I stitched!!

I have been working on my picture Christmas ornaments. Every year since my kids were born, I make them an ornament & I put their picture in the middle. I also started making them for my nieces & nephews too so now I make 11 of them every year. I am getting tired of the same patterns so if anyone has any photo ornament patterns that they are willing to share, please let me know!!! This is a picture of the first one done for this year & the next one started! I will keep showing you them as I go!

Welcome to the Jungle!!! My grandma has been wanting a Bengals sweatshirt for a year now & has not received one so I have decided to make her one! I am hoping to have it done by Saturday so she can wear it for the season!

Victoria did great in her volleyball game last night! She had 8 serves in a row last night & 18 in a row last Thursday! She is really doing super!! Jacob had another good football game! He is starting to like tackling people more and more! Boys!!!

We helped my mom move & then had to go to a funeral on Sunday. Just wasnt the weekend that I wanted! I am looking forward to the longer weekend next weekend!

I did do some stitching on my sister in laws picture. I am ready to get this done! Its time to start making some Christmas ornaments and Halloween things! I love fall, its my favorite time of the year!!!

I think I am going to visit my local needle shop today! I need a new project like I need a hole in the head but thats has never stopped me before!

Wow, its been awhile! Things have been busy! Even though ball has been done, we have had lots of ball tryouts for next years teams & Jacob has started football! Busy times once again! I cant believe school starts next week! I feel like my summer has flown by! I am not ready for the kids to go back to school yet, I like having them home!

In between tryouts & football, I have managed to work on a picture for my brother & his wife for Christmas. I am doing a picture of their two girls (my nieces) for them. I love doing these pictures! Everyone loves to see the final product! I have 3 more pictures to cross stitch that I want to do for gifts so I need to get stitching!!

Finally! I will have my weekends back! Both kids are done with ball!!!! Now I will be able to stitch my heart out most Saturdays & Sundays! I think I am going to start on some Christmas projects. I have the new Winter White Santa to do so I think I am going to make myself something for once!!! I will keep you updated on how its going! I did start a pair of socks last night! I was in the mood to do some knitting. We are heading to the Red game tonight so I am gathering a car project for the hour drive! Have a great day!!!

Its DONE!!!! Finally, the baby gift for my cousin is done!!Macey was born Monday & now I have her gift! I dont know why this took me 2 months to do, all I can think of is that it is oblong & a pain to hold so I kept putting off working on it! I love it! I almost hate to give it away & now I wish I had one for my kids!! I cant wait to see the first picture that she puts in it. Now the question is, "What do I start next??"

Wow, what a weekend!

Friday was busy with kid activities & having our sons "9"birthday party!! I cant believe our baby is 9 already! Where does the time go??

Our daughter also started a softball tournament Friday night. I had to stay home with the party so of course I missed 2 of her best hits so far!! They got home in time to enjoy cake & ice cream with us!!

Saturday was a rainy mess!! The ball tournament was delayed all day so that meant that I got to sit home & stitch!!!!!! Yeah me!! I watched my craft shows I had on DVR & stitched all day! I think I stitched for 12 hours!!

Sunday, we were back at the ball fields! They had to play a ton of ball since Saturday was a wash. I did get to stitch alot in the car in between games. We were at the ball fields until 1:00am!!! Victoria was a hitting machine! The good news is, is that they won the tournament!!! Yeah Troy Terror!!!

I am so close to finishing my baby growth chart gift! I am hoping to work on it today (if the kids dont want to go to the pool!) I will be posting a picture of it soon!!!

Long weekend at the ballfield! Both kids had tournaments this weeknd! They were 6 miles away from each other so that wasn't to bad. Victorias team came in 2nd & Jacobs team came in 3rd!

I did get to stitch a little in between games! I have my baby gift almost done!!!!! All I have to do is finish the outlining now!! I am soooo excited! I will post a picture as soon as I am done with it!

We are going to head to the pool in a few hours. Its finally sunny & warm again! I am ready to lay around & soak up the rays! We dont have anything on the calendar for tonight!!!! :) I love it when we have a free night!
